As we celebrate Keneseth Israel’s centennial year throughout 2026, we are excited to introduce an element of Tikkun Olam to our upcoming Centennial Gala on May 31. Thanks to several members of our Keneseth Israel family, we have established an independent fund for United Hatzalah, a free, volunteer-based emergency medical response organization serving communities throughout Israel and in cities around the world. Our goal is to donate one or more ambucycles to Louisville’s partner region in Israel, the Western Galilee, by matching dollar-for-dollar the amount of funds raised for KI to United Hatzalah.  Ambucycles are specialized emergency medical vehicles that allow first responders to navigate traffic and narrow pathways far more quickly than standard ambulances.
