Class: Kabbalah Month by Month – Through Kabbalistic teachings and meditations, Cantor Hordes will guide you through each Hebrew month’s holidays, Torah portions, healing areas, astrological connections, and more.

Class: Learn to Leyn – Students in this class will master the various Torah tropes so that they are able to chant from the Torah scroll on a Shabbat morning or afternoon. Beginners as well as those who want to brush up on their Torah reading skills are welcome.

Class: Torah Yoga – Through the study of Torah and the practice of yoga, we seek out the light in our body, mind, heart, soul, and ultimately the world.

Class: Jews and Brews – Rabbi Wolk and a dedicated group of students study their way through the entire Torah.  All levels and backgrounds are welcome. Rabbi Wolk ties together the Torah with something timely and relevant to our lives today, all over a cup of coffee.

Class: The Ethical Life – Join us for this unique opportunity to study the sources of Jewish ethics in their original and learn how we can apply them today, from political and financial scandals to rapid progress in biomedical science and technology. Each class includes a short video featuring Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) faculty members and other expert scholars, text study, and guided group discussion led by Rabbi Wolk. Curriculum designed by JTS scholars.

Class: LGBTQ and Judaism – We will explore Judaism’s views on issues such as sexual orientation and gender identity, same-sex marriage, gay rabbis, Jewish identity, and the very definition of pluralism and diversity in Judaism.

Class: Purposes of Jewish Living – In this class from the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, you will study key moments and issues in Jewish literature, from the Hebrew Bible through contemporary writing. We will explore ultimate questions: Why am I here? Why do we suffer? What happens when we die? All levels welcome.  Students in this class also take a second class called Rhythms of Jewish Living.
