Dinyan = Dinner + Minyan
Bring the whole family for a 25-minute musical Mincha/Maariv service and stay for a family-style seated dinner catered by Amy Green and Ohad Holzberg, owners of Naked Hummus. The menu will feature traditional Israeli foods like shakshuka. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Abby Glogower, curator of the Jewish Community Archive at the Filson Historical Society. She will be speaking about “Collecting and Preserving Louisville’s Jewish History.” Abby will be presenting on The Filson Historical Society’s new initiative to save and spotlight local Jewish history, with a focus on Keneseth Israel’s role in the past, present, and future of Louisville Jewish history. Abby comes to Louisville from Rochester, New York where she earned her doctorate in American art and visual culture. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, she has worked as a curator and educator in a diverse range of libraries and museums throughout the country.
