The next Imagine Shabbat will be on Saturday, January 11.
“Imagine Shabbat” is a new initiative at KI to make Shabbat morning services more inspiring for more people. On an occasional basis, we plan on experimenting with innovations in the service while retaining our core values of being traditional, egalitarian, participatory, and friendly. Some of these changes will work well, and may even become part of our regular services.
9:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Breakfast with the clergy. Shmooze with the clergy over lox and bagels, danishes, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.
9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Interactive Torah study.
10:30 a.m. – noon Abridged traditional Shabbat service.
12:00 p.m. Enhanced Kiddush lunch.
