Join us for Middot and Mishpacha: A Family Education Program with Rachel Katz, Education Fellow at the Institute for Southern Jewish Life. This will be a fun and informative family-friendly discussion of family values from a Jewish perspective, followed by Kiddush lunch. Free and open to the public.
Rachel graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Modern Jewish Studies. She grew up at Temple Beth Hillel in Valley Village, California as well as Temple Ahavat Shalom in Northridge, California. She was active in NFTY during high school and Hillel during college. She spent 18 years as a “faculty brat”, camper and staff member at URJ Camp Newman in California. Rachel has been enjoying her time as an Education Fellow at the ISJL and looks forward to her next steps.
